One of our racers and friends, Alex Aguirre, was diagnosed with cancer this week. One of Alex's wishes is to be able to race a competitive 600 this season instead of the older 1000 he has been riding. Since Alex already has a 600 that he hasn't been racing due to lack of funds to replace the worn out stock suspension, a few of us decided to outfit his bike and allow him to race a modern motorcycle for as long as he is able.
The list of what we plan on doing is a 20mm Ohlins fork kit which Evan Steel Performance is graciously giving us at cost and donating all of the labor for installation and setup.
Fast by Few will donate a the dyno time and map
Speedcell has already donated a new Superbike battery!
We plan on purchasing a new shock as well.
Alex can paint himself, and already has the materials to get that done.
We are looking for a good set of gloves as his are pretty worn out. Size XL
One of our riders has already offered to puirchase his tires at the next round.
ASMA will donate all of Alex's entry fee's for the remainder of the season.
We could use help getting all of this done within the next week and a half and any donations are appreciated. Alex is a really nice 22 year old kid please help us make his dream come true.
We can take paypal, credit card, cash or any other form of payment you could help with.
