November Dinner

Postby kmurray » Sun Oct 28, 2012 1:35 pm

I'm planning to supply the November dinner - in fact, Barbara's half way through cooking it now.

It'll be pork strings on a bun. Folks who want to bring sides might think about cole slaw & potato salad.

See y'all there - I already looking forward to it.

Usual chips and queso should be back on. I dropped the ball on that last month, sorry.

No, but I think we might do a Taber toss though. LOL
If it doesn't have wheels, it's not a sport. It's just a game.

WTF, you don't know how to use Google?
Taber toss on the other hand (pun intended) sounds too much like salad tossing. Something you're very familliar with.

The guy in my avatar is tossing a caber. It's a sport played in Scotland at county fairs (they call them "Highland Games"). You pick up a telephone pole, and throw it end-over-end. The goal is not distance, but to get the caber to tumble in a straight line. Here's a video:

That time that a lot of people were bitching about it being too hot, that was the best you and Ronny ever brought.
I'm not alone in that opinion.

so far its 2 for hotter then hell
Today we go shopping for the peppers and chilis to make the brew..
The surprise part is that you never quite know how hot the peppers will be.
But Roni's chili is always hot and good and good and hot. :cherry: :angryfire: :blob4:
