Just wanna know how strict tech is on safety wire im trying my hardest to get my bolts drilled for saftey wire but no luck so far i just wanted to know how strict tech will be on sunday

I'm usually wrong about everything but Asma requires drain pan bolt, oil filter, and fill cap. Somebody will chime in with the correct info, and it's posted on the Asma website in the rulebook.

Drain plug is a must, oil fill is plastic and easy to drill, and the oil filter you can put a hose clamp on and safety wire that. So, in all reality all you have to drill that's not super simple is the drain plug.

yea thats the one i was most worried about Luck me i had some drill bits in the garage and decided to give it a go before bed and it worked the other bolts i will get to tomorrow. I was just worried because i just remembered i had to do that lol...

Thinking of back in, what, 2005? '06?

Sirstins had a chain break and wrap around his oil filter. But someone else - Adam? had an R6 dipstick come loose and oil his tire.

Sammy Richards was first with the dipstick coming out of his R6, in the kink, going ccw, in 2001. It was ugly.
