TECH: Use K&N filter cleaner/oil on BMC

I've got a BMC filter and I'm too cheap to go out and buy the detergent and oil -- anybody know if I can just use the K&N filter kit instead? I can't see them being THAT different...

im pretty sure BMC makes two filters, one isn't clean-able so make sure you have the right one, and yes you can use the k&N cleaning kit on the cleanable BMC filter
