It will fit. The part numbers for the mounting brackets on both bikes are the same.

where do you cross ref the parts numbers?

from kneedraggers.com oem parts lookup. looked up both bikes mounting brackets, part numbers are the same for the top bracket and the spacer and bearing for the lower.

Oh I was hoping it was a penske part number.

Penske does not really have an application guide by bike its more by shock model and then they install the bracket necessary to fit your bike. But the shock shown above has the exact same mounting that you have on your '07 gsxr 600. It will fit.

While the mounting hole/style and bracket/spacers matter a great deal, there's also the stroke length and center-of-stroke to worry about, too (as well as overall length, coil bind for preload, and the spring length so that preload doesn't end up with the adjuster holes hidden by bodywork or frame.
