i have a question to ask. the new kawasaki 250r has a rear tire of a 130. now would a 140 fit since you have the space to fit it. or what would be the best sizes for the bike.

Myself I think that going to a 140 would be a bad choice..Bigger is heavyer and its unspring weight..I have been using a 120 on my 02 ninjette and the only way i can get it to break loose in a corner is with to much brake...

ninja250.org says ok to that size on the bridgestone bt=003 But still that is a lot of tire for 28HP bike.I have been running Pirelli BT-75's of the 100 and 120 size with very good luck.
I have been gearing 15/49 with stock being 14/45 going CW my GPS speed has been 90mph with tail wind and CCW about 85 with headwind (normal for Arroyo) At apx.12500rpm which is about where my little ninjette makes it max HP.

Not to sure if I will be down south for the 4th as of yet.. Plan on racing with SMRI at Sandia on the 26th..But if you plan on being there I will try a little harder to get down south for the weekend of the 4th..just to see how my old tired 02 will hold up with your new Ninjette..

Thanx brother. The bile belongs to my friend Cpt Ruley. He owns a gxr1000 but wanted a fun little track bike. He got it or 1800 not bad for a 08 with 3000 miles. What would you recommend as a jetting forthe carbs. This weekend were gunna tear her apart for track maintance. My rs250 has been kicking butt. Rodger what was the name of the tires I should race with.
