I'll be there for the 4th, got to work on the suspension this time cause I know my brakes work all too well.

Rings were shot on the Ninjette..Have switched top ends with my silver Ninjette. Hope that It will hold up for a few miles..The rings are near the limit. but still better then what they replaced.
Along with the Muzzy exhust and a few other changes that this track day will be used to work on jetting etc..
Having had this thing apart I can see a few extra horsepower can be had with a little fine tuning of the parts..

Been having one of them days/weeks/months..Got the top end changed..was picking up tools and extra parts..Found a NEW head gasket on the bench the only new one I had..Staying up most of the night to put the motor back together one gets tired and makes mistakes...I don't belive that I put in the old gasket.. .Well I said to myself Self lets start it up and see if you can get by with this. ..Well the oil stayed in but the water didn't..I gotta get this thing right for the 11th. .

Far out! I sure hope the my patch job on this little green bike works. Will finish working on the topend tomarrow and will take it up the road again with hopes all is well.. If not will still have a couple more days to work on it.. and If all fails I have another ride sit up for the 11th. tho it wont be on a 250
But will still be a Lightweight bike

Just got done with test run...Everything seems to be working ok other then the temp gage isn't working for some reason..The small changes and Muzzy pipe seem to be working much better then planned...Seat of pants is telling me that anyway...I gona hafta get the carbs a little better now...I just might enter a couple of middleweight classes this sunday along with all the rest that I usely enter...

Sarge: When you get tires on your 250 that you are comfy with...AND LEARN how to do the corners you should be able to keep up with the bird of pray and a few sv650s But a lot of going fast is learning how to get the best out of what you have to work with and find a way around the limitations..and as you work on them you will be going even faster..

And I am sure that James is only a couple of races away from making me work very hard to keep in front of..

I am hoping to see both of you on the 1st, and/or 2nd, and/or, 8-9th. As I plan on working of getting the ninjette to handle and run a little better on the trackdays and make you work very hard to get and stay in front of me.
