I had to order new chain and sprockets, Tibo wore them out last season.

Go with the 48 and see how it goes would be my opinion.

Like Roger says, go with lower gearing.
I would say the lowest you have..and be sure to have all your sprockets ready to change if it turns out to be two low..

What about the gsxr 1000?

Roger runs really short gears. I go for 15/46 and have been pretty-much good at every track. Shorter than that, the wheelbase is too short and I fight the bike.

I think the 1K is -1+2. I never changed it. have to hit both the straights in 2nd to get a drive.

3 months ago I couldn't pee by myself... We've got a sportsmans cup, but what about the cripples cup? Tibo and roger helped me regear the bike and it makes a difference.
