Anyone from El Paso going to ASR for trackdays or racing?

Thats the issue... I totaled my truck before I moved out here... and don't have the money for a vehicle just yet... Working towards that.

Riding it to the track is not an option either... I won't run the risk of wrecking it, and then trying to figure out what the hell to do... I'll just wait and see if anyone from the area chimes in...

If I can't find anyone willing to lend a ride and split some costs, I'll just have to wait... We'll see what happens...

That brings up a whole slew of other issues... if I were to crash, and either thrash the bike, or injure myself, then what would I do? I'm not going to stick someone with having to take me home after a wreck because I rode to the track... If I can work out a ride with someone, I'll be there for sure! If not, I'll have to wait until I can get myself to and from... I'm just surprised nobody has a truck or is willing to offer a ride... I know two bikes will fit in an S-10 together, two R1's for that matter. Sooo, anything larger would fit my bike and another quite easily. I'm hoping all works out with this guy Juan, even though his first post was to offer me a ride... Hopefully it all works out, and I don't end up murdered somewhere in a ditch...

I dont normally go up on trackday weekends but all race weekends i am THERE! (Announcer/Tire Changer) I normally bring my car up for those weekends but if you pitch for gas I have no problem driving my truck up so you can ride/race.

I don't even have an ignition... so forgetting a key is the least of my worries... I do need a track list though... I'm bringing the bike, a bin full of spare parts and fluids, my gear, helmets, gloves, suit, boots and back protector... Plenty of Under Armour, couple changes of clothes... Cooler for drinks, tent and chairs... Etc...

Anyone have a checkoff list they usually run down?

after you do it a couple times it because normal... Everytime i go i always bring less stuff. The first track day i did i swear i had the whole garage in my truck lol Mostly all i bring is Clipon bars or the stock ones, stock rearsets or spares to fix the aftermarket ones, Fluids eh just gas chain cleaner and lube, a screw driver for suspension settings couple wrenches and a note book. Oh yea the most important tool the tire pressure gauge.
