Should have specified on this one.
Bridgestone, Dunlop, Michelin and Pirelli have all been on bikes that did 8's.

I think Shane did 17's on them. Of course he did an 11.3 on a stock GSXR600 with a blown shock too. He knows how to ride the crap! (among other things)

They have tires that are for the street and cruising. I was new to Street bikes and didnt know much about tires then, and hell I paid 140 for the set. lol

On a plus note they lasted a hell of a long time.. I did like 4-5 track days on them and I did 17's on them.. plus about 3k on the street canyon carving. and they still had some rubber left before i started racing and learned about tires.

pirelli... but tires had nothing to do with the enormous patch of dirt that was in the middle of he turn i crashed in

Exactly, that was a huge brain fart for hauling ass on the street without pre running the section first.....
