In case you didn't know, Mickey had a nasty crash caused by a loose caliper bleeder resulting in running off the track at the end of the back straight at about 120mph.
Just got back from visiting him in the hospital and definitely have some good news! Although some of the inital reports were true, there is no fractures with his back. The injury list includes a fracture on his pelvis which will not require surgery, another on his left wrist, three broken ribs, one which punctured his right lung. Currently the lung is the biggest issue but he is expecting to be moved from ICU to a normal room tonight and hopefully released on Thursday.

On a less serious note, he did set an ASMA record for run-off distance (around 300ft).
