Time Machine

Postby Roger@Arroyo » Sun Jul 01, 2012 2:44 pm

One thing that happens when I'm upgrading my computer here at the house. While reinstalling all of the updates and programs, I run across some interesting stuff.

In September 2006, Mickey Rupe won the beginner race, so that was his last race as a beginner. Also in the race, Thomas McFarland, who finished 7th on his Busa, and Tiras Banks, who finished 11th.

Heavyweight Superbike, (750cc and under bikes) was won by Mike Browne over Dave Howell and Brian Eves.

Formula Amateur was won by Kevin Edgington over Mike Brown and Marcello Cento

Formula Arroyo was Ivan Garza over myself and Phil Neuzil.

I rode 7 races on my 650 Ninja and 1 on my gsxr750.

Scary thing is, I remember. I'd have been on my 636 at the time, and Mike's bike wasn't quiet then ;)

Speaking of old hard drives, I just ran across the one with Kevin Edgington's Beginner Race winner's poster, among others this past weekend.

How's everyone doin?

I can in second place in that beginner race. Mickey has the picture to prove it. Back in the day when the beginner race winner got a free poster of their race. 8) I think that was my last beginner race.
