Racing on the cheap

Good on ya Jordan at CVMA. Just checking their fee schedule:
$120 license fee ($50 for a mechanic I guess this let's you into the pit area)
$100 first race fee
$50 for each additional race

CCS Southwest:
$120 license fee
$90 first race fee ($100 for formula classes)
$75 second race fee
$55 each additional race fee

Just to contrast ASMA:
$75 license fee
$40 per race ($50 for the formula classes)
no mechanic fees in the pits

Just wanted to show the value of our racing club against others in the general area.
I didn't even mention the fact others charge gate fees for racers and the higher rate for track days.

I agree -- and I've always told everybody I could, Arroyo is the cheapest track in the country.

Yep, add the gate fee for us as well. When I set the $5 per day gate fee, everyone else was double that. (CCS, SMRI etc..)
