What a battle between Eslick and Young..!!!!!
I think that's the best battle I've seen all year.
That was worth watching and definitely wish there was more battles like that ..

I've been rooting for the EBR boys from the get-go... But to watch them dicing was good times! It would be great if all the Superbike races were that close, even with Hayden checking out he was still on the screen with Young and Eslick. Not to detract from Hayes at all, but he's usually just pulling lightspeed laps by himself.

speaking of a battle..I had a good one sunday in The SMRI 250 supersport class. We had 7 bikes in the race. I got a good start and was holding 2nd for a lap till one of the other fast(er) riders got by me..I was able to hold off 2 other riders in a battle for 3rd. till half way thru the last lap when the pressure got to me and one of them stuffed me in turn 3 I did the best I could to get back by him but just couldn't pull it off. I gota hand it to Darren that was one good pass he pulled on me..

More like a moped on steriods.
But easy and a blast to race.
Plus a big plus is I spent 180 bucks for new tires to run the 4 hour with.. and still haven't worn them out and thats with one Sandia trackday and 2 race sundays (9 races)(and Sandia track wears out tires like mad) and ASMA round 5 on them and it looks like I will be able to finish the season at both tracks with them..
You ASMA guys are missing out on some fantastic low budget racing..
I renew my 250 ninjette challenge..I dare you kids to get one and come out and show me how old fat and slow I really am..

Yes I think the 300 being updated from the older 250 is a bit better. Till you look at the fact that the price is looking to be around 4800 dollars plus all the tax and other add on costs just to get one out the door of your fav. Kaw dealer.
Which is more money then I have spent on 4 of the older models, plus spare motors, parts, wheels tires, sprockets, etc. over the last two years. And one of them had the muzzy pipe and jet kit..(500 for the one with the muzzy but it was having overheating problems I haven't torn down to see why yet) and the one I am racing now set me back 700 little ones.
It should for sure be a better street bike because of more low end. the suspension is for sure much better then on the older 250's. Same for the track. But I don't see myself getting one any time soon.
