I spent 8 hours working on the Hawk today.
1. Got the intake manifolds ported to the carbs and heads.
2. Looked everywhere and finally found some hose clamps that fit the new intake manifolds.
3. Put on the new throttle and cables. They were NOT plug and play.
3. Got the right side Woodcraft rearset mounted. They don't sell a full kit for the Hawk, only the basic with no petals. What was mounted before was the original's from my GSXR1000 with adapter plates I had made, including the master cylinder. None of it fit the new rearsets. Had to find and mount the original Hawk master cylinder, but the custom exhaust is in the way of the Hawk rear brake pedal, by about an inch and a half. Absolutely no way to make it work, besides, it's a steel pedal. My way of fixing the problem was to take a stock GSXR footpeg and cut it at the shaft where the Suzuki brake pedal mounts, about an inch long. Then drill a bigger hole in the rearset and bolt the shaft to the backside. Then put a dent in the can for clearance. Then bend the stock Suzuki pedal into an S because stock it mounts on the outside of the rearset and I had to mount it on the inside. Looks good too!
Still have to get some new fuel line as the FCR's have a bigger inlet tube than the stock carbs. Also a new T to split the hose to get to both carbs. Then still have to weld the tank and put some Kreem in it. And, mount the left side rearset, but that should be easier because I was already using the stock shifter pedal.
